A Beautiful Soul

Bridget Miksch was diagnosed with brain cancer on the stem and given a prognosis of about one year to live at the young age of fourteen. Living a full six years beyond the prognosis, she inspired her friends and family through her strong faith and her determination in continuing to play sports and attend high school. She endured chemotherapy and radiation therapy while attending classes, and not many people knew about this quiet battle. Bridget was a great artist, athlete, and student. As she continued to face her suffering, she grew in her prayer life and frequently spent time with Jesus via the Eucharist and Adoration.
